Humble Home Card 1 - From Our House To Yours

Cup Cake Taco

 

For the Taco Filling:

• 🥩 1 lb ground beef
• 🌮 1 packet taco seasoning
• 💧 1/2 cup water 

For the Cupcakes:

• 🏵️ 24 wonton wrappers
• 🧀 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
• 🍅 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
• 🥑 1/2 cup guacamole (optional)
• 🍃 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
• 🍚 1/4 cup sour cream
• 🌶️ 1/2 cup salsa 

Step 1: Assemble the Taco Cupcakes 

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin and press one wonton wrapper into each cup.
3. Press another wonton wrapper on top and repeat the layers of meat and cheese.

Step 2: Bake the Taco Cupcakes

1. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. I cook them for 18 minutes in my gas oven but I think it was a tad too long. 
2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before removing from the tin.

Step 3: Add Toppings & Serve

1. Top each taco cupcake with diced tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and cilantro.
2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Measurements:

Basic White Thick cardstock: 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored & folded at 4 ¼”

Mossy Meadow cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”

Basic White cardstock: 5” x 3 ¾”

Mixed Media Florals DSP: 3 ½” square

Instructions:

1. Cut the DSP according to the measurements above.
2. Use the Mossy Meadow ink pad to stamp the sentiment onto layer 3.
3. Paint the designer paper with Wink of Stella.
4. Adhere layers 2 - 4 together as shown using Seal+ adhesive.
5. Tie a ribbon around these layers and make a knot or bow as shown.
6. Adhere these layers to the card base.
7. Use the Take Your Pick Tool to add the rhinestones to the card.

Mixed Media Florals DSP: 5 ½” x 2” and 3" square

Mossy Meadow cardstock: 5 ½” x ¾” and 3 ¼” square 

Directions:

1. Cut the DSP according to the measurements above.
2. Use the Mossy Meadow ink pad to stamp the sentiment onto the designer series paper layer 2.
3. Adhere the layers together using Stampin’ Seal+ adhesive.
4. Paint the designer series paper with Wink of Stella.
5. Use the Take your Pick tool to add three rhinestones from your package.

Mixed Media Florals DSP: 4” x 1” - 2 pieces and 4” x 3”
Basic White cardstock: To The Point punched shape
Boho Blue cardstock: To The Point punched shape
Basic White cardstock: 1 ¾” Circle punched shape

Directions:

1. Use Paper Snips to cut the Basic White To the Point punched shape in half on the flat side. Adhere both sides to the back of Basic white as shown.
2. Use the Boho Blue ink pad to stamp a sentiment onto the circle. as shown. Add to the top of Boho Blue using Stampin’and set aside.
